MCRD - IAB- FIP (Fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology)

The interventional Pulmonology fellowship at Metro Centre for Respiratory Disease (Metro Hospital and Heart Institute) provides a distinctive training for selected individual aspiring to achieve the mandatory skills for a career in Interventional Pulmonology.

We endeavor to offer the convenient balance of research, education and clinical training and thus have designed a one year fellowship around these goals.

Course Duration: One Year full time course

Admission/Eligibility requirements for the course
Registration with Medical Council/ SMC is compulsory
MD/DNB Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases/ Pulmonary Medicine, DM-Pulmonary Medicine/ Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine

Method of Selection
Each candidate will be selected exclusively on interview basis. Interview date will be notified to the candidate through phone/E-mail.

Fees
Each candidate needs to pay its Rs. 20,000/ as fees to IAB (Indian Association of Branchology). Candidate also needs to be a member of IAB (Indian Association of Branchology).

Stipend
Selected candidate will be paid salary of a senior resident as specified by MCRD Metro Hospital Norms.

Academic Year
Academic sessions will start from 15 May of each year.
Each student will be sent for 2 weeks training for training in Lung Transplantation to Global Hospital, Chennai.

Submission of Application
Eligible candidate may send their duly completed application in the prescribed format (attached below) to MCRD, Noida before 15 May of every year. Application form may be downloaded from the given link below
